Ingredients for making fennel syrup
Fennel seeds – 1/2 cup
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Black salt – 1 tsp
Green food color – 1 pinch
Ice cubes – 8-10
sugar – as per taste
salt – as per taste

How to make Fennel syrup
Fennel syrup is a great option to cool the body in summer. To make this, clean the fennel first, then put it in clean water and wash it. After this, keep the fennel soaked in water for about 2 hours. After this, remove excess water from fennel and grind it by putting it in a mixer jar. When the fennel becomes coarse during grinding, open the lid of the jar and add black salt, sugar and a little water to it and grind it again to make a smooth juice.

Now filter the prepared thick juice in a utensil with the help of a cloth. After filtering, put the remaining coarse fennel again in the mixer jar and grind it by adding a little water. Now filter the prepared juice again with the help of a cloth. By doing this, maximum juice of fennel will come out. Now put green food color in the pot of fennel syrup and mix it with the help of a spoon. After this, mix two spoons of lemon juice in the sherbet. Flavorful fennel syrup is ready. Pour it in a serving glass and serve by adding ice cubes on top.
